Guidelines for Utilizing TOPTOUR's Services

  1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of transfer, tour, and chauffeur-driven vehicle rental services by TOPTOUR PORTUGAL, a company based in Lisbon, Portugal. TOPTOUR PORTUGAL offers a diverse fleet of vehicles and possesses comprehensive licenses at both national and international levels to conduct its operations.

 

  1. Services Offered

TOPTOUR PORTUGAL provides the following services:

  • Transfer Services: Point-to-point transportation between designated locations.
  • Tour Services: Guided tours to explore various destinations.
  • Chauffeur-Driven Vehicle Rental: Rental of vehicles with professional drivers.

 

  1. Booking and Confirmation

Customers can book services through our website, phone, or authorized agents. Booking confirmation is subject to availability and payment of the agreed-upon fees.

 

  1. Payment

Payment for services can be made through accepted payment methods as indicated on our platform. All fees are outlined during the booking process and are inclusive of applicable taxes.

The payment process ensures the security of your information through encryption and secure transmission using SSL protocol. Here’s how the payment works:

 

  1. Cancellations and refunds

Cancellation policies vary based on the type of service and are clearly communicated during the booking process. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to our Refund Policy.

 

5.1. Cancellation

You can cancel for free up to 24 hours before your Pick-Up Time. If you don’t cancel on time, you won’t be entitled to a refund.

 

5.2. Refunds

  • If you wish to apply for a refund, you must do so in writing no more than 7 days after your Pick-up Time.
  • If your driver isn’t at the pick-up location on time, you can apply for a refund.

 

You won’t be entitled to a refund if your Journey doesn’t go ahead as planned because:

 

  • the driver/service provider can’t contact you
  • one or more passengers isn’t at the pick-up location on time, and you haven’t requested a new pick-up time
  • you request unreasonable changes to the pick-up time or Journey
  • you don’t tell us / the service provider / the driver about a change you want to make
  • you’d provided incorrect details when booking your Private Transport (pick-up location, contact details, number of people, amount of luggage, etc.) of something that one or more passengers did/didn’t do.

 

  1. Changes to Bookings

Any requested changes to bookings are subject to availability. TOPTOUR PORTUGAL will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes whenever possible.

 

  1. Service Execution

TOPTOUR PORTUGAL is committed to providing services with the utmost professionalism. Delays caused by unforeseen circumstances are possible, and the company will not be held liable for such delays.

 

  1. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are required to provide accurate booking information. Any additional fees incurred due to incorrect information will be the customer’s responsibility.

 

  1. Conduct

Customers are expected to behave in a respectful and appropriate manner during the provision of services. TOPTOUR PORTUGAL reserves the right to terminate services if customer behavior is deemed disruptive or dangerous.

 

  1. Liability

While TOPTOUR PORTUGAL takes measures to ensure safety and security, customers acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks. The company shall not be held liable for any personal injury, property damage, delays, or other unforeseen events.

 

  1. Complaints

Any complaints regarding services should be communicated to TOPTOUR PORTUGAL promptly. The company will make efforts to address and resolve the issue in a timely manner.

 

  1. Passenger Insurance During Journeys in Our Vehicles
  • Coverage: All passengers traveling in our vehicles are automatically covered by our Passenger Insurance Policy. This insurance is designed to provide protection against unforeseen accidents or injuries that might occur while traveling in one of our vehicles.
  • Claims: In the unfortunate event of an accident, passengers should immediately notify our company representative or driver. Necessary documentation and support will be provided to facilitate the claim process.
  • Exclusions: This insurance does not cover personal belongings left in the vehicle or any injuries resulting from non-compliance with our vehicle safety guidelines or disruptive behavior.
  • Limitations: The maximum claim amount and specifics of what the insurance covers will be based on the policy details. Passengers are encouraged to review the insurance policy for a detailed understanding of the coverage.
  • Responsibility: While we strive to ensure the safety and comfort of all our passengers, it remains the responsibility of every passenger to adhere to all safety instructions and guidelines provided by our drivers or company representatives.
  • Additional Insurance: Passengers who feel the need for additional coverage are encouraged to secure their own personal travel insurance.

 

  1. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Lisbon.
